I am currently Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. I teach a four-course quantitative methodology sequence in our graduate program in Political Science. You can find out more about the courses I teach here. My research focuses largely on measurement either as it relates to democracy and conflict or for its own sake. Further, much of my own research, and some collaborative work as well, focuses on the link between state repression and democratic institutions/behavior. Otherwise, my methodological interests have taken me in a number of different substantive directions on collaborative projects. You can find out more about my research here or download my full CV. I also have had the privilege of teaching at the ICPSR Summer Program since 2006. I really value the experiences I had as a participant (2001-2003) and TA (2002-2006) at the Summer Program and consider myself lucky to be a member of the Program's faculty. You can find materials for my ICPSR courses here. If you are looking for something that appears to be gone, please just shoot me an e-mail and I will be happy to forward along what you're looking for.
